The multi functional mobile Flat Panel PC is developed and designed for Train Video Network applications with extended operating conditions like radiation, dust, humidity, shock, vibration and temperature.

The device is based on an embedded PC (Intel Celeron M CPU, 800 MHz) and a high brightness active matrix color LC display and has an integrated AEC (Automatic Environment Control) to control and watch the backlight function, temperature as well as all customer specific I/Is via an internal RS232 interface. The AES will also be used as a redundant alive-check watchdog for paired units.

An optional Touch Screen is available.

15“ Infomedia TFT

The unit described in this data sheet is a microprocessor controlled 15” TFT video monitor with an integrated PC. It is intended for applications with higher requirements for durability, brightness and extended use.

With an approximate diagonal screen size of 38 cm and a max. resolution of 1024×768 pixels, this unit is optimal as on-board TFT-Multimediasystem for roadway arrangement and other information (promotion / connection). The picture impresses with its brilliant sharpness, brightness and very high contrast.

The housing is an extremely compact, solid aluminum construction with a very “slim” installation depth of only 55 mm. The surface is powder coated and available in all RAL colour terms.

The screen has an anti-reflective coating on both sides to protect the mechanical operation of the TFT, to increase the contrast and to provide the necessary seal against dust and moisture.

An easy assembly to ceiling or wall mounts is given by four mounting holes according to VESA standards.

The picture impresses with its brilliant sharpness, brightness and very high contrast. Due to increased brightness and special filter technology these displays are even readable in direct sunlight.

The IPC can be booted through the network and from external USB-devices.
